ICA Fishing Club
The ICA Fishing Club gives students a unique opportunity to explore Florida’s natural environment while building confidence, teamwork, and practical outdoor skills. Guided by experienced leaders, students learn responsible angling techniques, water safety, knot tying, species identification, and the importance of conservation.
More than a club, this program teaches students to respect and appreciate Florida’s ecosystems. Members gain hands on experience in environmental stewardship as they learn how healthy fisheries are maintained and why protecting natural resources matters for future generations.
Students also develop important character traits including patience, perseverance, and problem solving. Whether they are casting for the first time or refining their skills, every child is supported and encouraged in a safe, structured, and positive environment.
The ICA Fishing Club continues to grow each year and proudly represents ICA in local youth conservation challenges. It is one of the many programs that make learning at ICA meaningful, memorable, and grounded in real world experience.
