Enrolling at Independence Classical Academy
Enrolling at Independence Classical Academy is the first step toward giving your child an education grounded in rigor, virtue, and the enduring principles of classical learning. As a public, tuition-free charter school in Fort Pierce, ICA offers a highly engaging and academically challenging curriculum that cultivates critical thinkers, strong character, and responsible citizens.
Open Enrollment runs from December 15–January 31, with a state-mandated lottery on February 1 should applications exceed available seats. ICA serves 645 students across our K–5 and 6–10 campuses, and admission is governed by Florida Statute. Enrollment preferences established in our charter apply to Employee Children, ICA Siblings, Military Children, In-District applicants, and Multiples.
Getting started is simple: click “Enroll Now”, create your family account, and submit an application for each child. Because enrollment confirms that your family understands and supports ICA’s mission and governing board policies, we encourage prospective parents to reach out with any questions about curriculum, uniforms, campus life, or school expectations prior to applying.
For families interested in future enrollment years (2026–2027 and beyond), you may submit a Letter of Intent to b.cross@icacharter.org. These letters help us plan class sizes, staffing, and future opportunities—and ensure you receive early notification when seats become available.
